Earlyne and Carrie Hector Youth Education Scholarship Program

The Earlyne & Carrie Hector Youth Education Scholarship Program is a need-based program awarded to individuals (further referred to as student) for a single registration of paid camps at Fargo Air Museum. Applications for scholarships are accepted year round.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Student must be a member of Fargo Air Museum.

  • Student must have a complete application submitted with required documentation by the due date to be considered.

    Student must be either

    • Qualified for their school’s free or reduced lunch program.

      AND/OR

    • Undergoing special circumstances such as unusual medical expenses, unusual debts or loss of assets, or extended family support.

    Note: Financial impact must be based on both parents, even within split custody households.

Application Process

  • Applications and required documentation must be submitted via www.fargoairmuseum.org at least a month prior to desired camp date.

  • Applications that are incomplete, inaccurate, or falsely represented will not be considered.

  • No guarantee of financial assistance is implied by the completion of the application.

  • Scholarships are granted on a yearly basis. Applicants must apply each year.

Scholarship Fund

  • Funds available each calendar year (January - December) are determined by donations received for the scholarship program.

  • Scholarship amounts awarded may vary from year to year depending on available funds and individual circumstances as disclosed in the application.

  • Awarded scholarship funds are non-transferrable.

Scholarship Committee

  • The scholarship committee consists of the Fargo Air Museum Executive Director, Director of Operations, Board Members, and Staff of the Fargo Air Museum.

  • The Fargo Air Museum Scholarship Committee will review all applications and determine the scholarships awarded based on eligibility, total number of applicants, available funds, and other factors considered relevant by the committee. All decisions are final.

  • Family/Friends of a student cannot serve in the committee’s decision making process for that student’s application.

Privacy

  • All application forms and information will be kept confidential with the scholarship committee and Director of Operations.
